So, I haven`t blogged in a long while. Its been super tough launching a business and e-commerce site and blog on my fun site at the same time, so apologies. I am sure you are all super busy finding ways to make money and stay busy during the time of COVID-19 2020. It has been a mad year.

I started a small business about 3 years ago, and its taken as long to develop the products we make now, and also get it to the level of quality that I find acceptable. I have also learnt that perfect, is never as good as done, so I digress.
I just wanted to post some numbers for guys that have been doing my cars for sound and tracker for about 10 years. Since the time of moving to Johannesburg in 2009. Car Boutique Audio are a family run business. They focus on Tracker installations, sound, smash and grab and security.

So why write a whole blog – even if short, on this? Well, because I have never seen a small team work so seamlessly to deliver service. Having worked in many different businesses over the years, I see that ones that are run by a family, however crazy they get, are really focussed on getting stuff done. For some reason, having your brother or sister rely on you, seems to get things finished to perfection. In a day I did a tracker. The following day a pair of door speakers to lift up the “mid space” of my current sound system. (Will upgrade these soon with the team to all JBL – so watch this space).

Also, service in South Africa, and in particular in Johannesburg, can get very monotonous. As in, any business that happens to be a franchise can get the same generic training,, and the people working there literally cant wait to clock out and go home. I am not saying that is different in ones owned by a family, but you can see my view illustrated when going to a portuguese chicken chain vs going to one for example, run by a family that serves similar portguese style food. Alot more screaming. A Bit more noise. But the love put into the food is edible, and you go back for more when you can without hesitation! Thats CBA.
So in summary. If you need a sound systems installed. A Tracker – which you can track from your cellphone ( at the time only R 139 per month) – , these are guys I trust.

On the second installation day, I met their Dad, Mr Harvey, who pops in with a puppy dog daily, to get work he can do at home, whilst the period of CV19 persists, but what a nice guy. The guys to ask for are Greg or Guy. Amazing dudes! Very rare, even in a economic slump, to find guys who want to get things done properly, but as fast and efficiently as possible. We all wish that when standing in a queue or waiting to see a doctor. The best results, in shortest amount of time, because no one wants to waste time.
Consider them for your next install. Tell them my blog sent you! Stay safe. Wash your hands. Be nice to as many people as you can, life is precious.
